If you love to tap, used to tap, never tapped, always tapped, are curious about tap, wonder if you can tap, don’t think you can tap….you’ve come to the right place! ReCreation Tappers will help you launch, restart or enhance your tap career by providing information about adult tap classes in southwest Florida; offering fun, multi-level, casual practice sessions open to all members and introducing you to dozens of adult tap enthusiasts. Who doesn’t like to make new friends who share their interests? And, if you think you’d like to perform, ReCreation Tappers can take care of that too. All members have the opportunity to perform at public and private shows around the greater Naples area.  Performing is always optional -- no pressure. Who We Are

ReCreation Tappers of Southwest Florida is a cheerful, non-profit, all-volunteer organization of about 80 fun-loving adult recreational tap dancers who live full-time or part-time in the southwest Florida communities of Ft. Myers, Estero, Bonita Springs, Naples, Marco Island and surrounding areas. Our mission is to encourage appreciation for and participation in the wonderful performing art of American tap dance. To accomplish this, our members work to improve their tap skills by taking instruction from first-rate teachers, and our performance troupe shows off those skills at entertaining public and private appearances – free of charge – principally during southwest Florida’s busy winter season.
